Antonelli no tard\u00f3 en demostrar su velocidad, marcando r\u00e1pidamente un tiempo de 1:46.911 con neum\u00e1ticos medios, superando el mejor registro de Verstappen de la sesi\u00f3n matutina y dejando claro que Mercedes tiene un ritmo sumamente competitivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As\u00ed pues, la sesi\u00f3n se vio interrumpida por primera vez cerca del minuto 15. Max Verstappen arrastr\u00f3 grava hacia el circuito tras salir ancho en la curva 14, obligando a los comisarios a desplegar la bandera roja para limpiar la superficie. Al reanudarse la actividad, Isack Hadjar fue el primero en utilizar el compuesto blando, aunque su ventaja en la cima dur\u00f3 realmente poco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Y es que recordemos que Antonelli lidera actualmente el campeonato de pilotos con una ventaja de 25 puntos, y su tremenda confianza se not\u00f3 al ser el primer piloto en bajar de la barrera del 1:46.000. George Russell, por su parte, se qued\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de un segundo de su compa\u00f1ero de equipo, quej\u00e1ndose fuertemente de la temperatura en los neum\u00e1ticos traseros de su monoplaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finalmente, una segunda bandera roja provocada por el choque de Gasly a la salida de la curva 13 sentenci\u00f3 la sesi\u00f3n de manera prematura. Antonelli mantuvo la 1ra posici\u00f3n, seguido por Norris en la 2da plaza y Verstappen en el 3er lugar.
