Palou finaliz\u00f3 en la segunda posici\u00f3n con el equipo Chip Ganassi; el espa\u00f1ol super\u00f3 al poleman y, aunque no pudo defenderse del ataque de Kirkwood, se recupera de su abandono en Phoenix escalando al segundo puesto del campeonato. Will Power ocup\u00f3 el tercer lugar con su monoplaza de Andretti, logrando terminar un fin de semana limpio y consiguiendo un gran resultado tras un inicio de temporada dif\u00edcil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marcus Ericsson cruz\u00f3 la meta en el cuarto puesto, perdiendo posiciones desde la pole pero manteni\u00e9ndose en la punta. Esto confirm\u00f3 el dominio de Andretti y de los motores Honda, los cuales ocuparon los cuatro primeros lugares de la competencia. Patricio O&#8217;Ward fue el mejor auto con motor Chevrolet al finalizar quinto. El piloto mexicano de Arrow McLaren ven\u00eda haciendo una gran carrera, pero un encontronazo en boxes con Palou le hizo perder tiempo; no obstante, el resultado le permite colocarse tercero en el campeonato general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El equipo Penske confirm\u00f3 un mal d\u00eda en la pista perdiendo el liderato del campeonato. David Malukas fue su piloto mejor ubicado al terminar s\u00e9ptimo, mientras que Scott McLaughlin y Josef Newgarden finalizaron muy rezagados. La carrera termin\u00f3 bajo bandera amarilla por un accidente entre Nolan Siegel y el novato Dennis Hauger.
