Con una actuaci\u00f3n impecable, se coloc\u00f3 en la 1ra posici\u00f3n con una puntuaci\u00f3n de 104.84 pts, tomando una ventaja de m\u00e1s de 12 puntos sobre el segundo lugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al d\u00eda siguiente, en el programa libre, Malinin entreg\u00f3 una actuaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica que le vali\u00f3 el nuevo r\u00e9cord de 228.97 pts. Complet\u00f3 un programa cargado de dificultad t\u00e9cnica, abriendo con un 4Flip, un 3Axel, un 4Lutz y un 4Loop en la primera mitad. En la segunda parte, realiz\u00f3 una combinaci\u00f3n 4Lutz + 1Euler + 3Flip, una 4Toeloop + 3Toeloop y una secuencia final de 4Salchow + 3Axel. Esta exhibici\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica, con 6 saltos cu\u00e1druples, ciment\u00f3 su victoria con la suma total de 333.81 pts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La diferencia en el podio demuestra el abismo que hay entre Malinin y el resto: el medallista de plata, Aleksandr Selevko de Estonia, termin\u00f3 con 257.21 pts (tras quedar 3ro en el corto y 2do en el libre), <strong>a casi 77 puntos del ganador<\/strong>.
