En el primer encuentro, &#8216;Sascha&#8217; Zverev cay\u00f3 en cuatro sets con 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 y 7-6 en favor del local, Fritz. Un partido que comenz\u00f3 parejo y lleg\u00f3 al&nbsp;<em>tie break<\/em>&nbsp;en su primer set, pero tras tres mini quiebres, fue Taylor quien se adelant\u00f3 7-2 en el desempate y 1-0 en el encuentro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El alem\u00e1n logr\u00f3 igualar las cosas tras quebrar al estadounidense en la segunda parte, pero poco le duro el gusto, pues ser\u00eda el \u00fanico set a su favor. Para el terce parcial la paridad fue similar, aunque gracias a un primer quiebre de Taylor, este logr\u00f3 una c\u00f3moda ventaja de 3-0. Un perfecto drive con la derecha de Taylor, colocado a la derecha de Alexander, le dio la victoria al tenista local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alexander lleg\u00f3 como cuarto del mundo, pero se despide del torneo como el dos del Ranking ATP tras las prematuras eliminaciones de Novak Djokovic y Carlos Alcaraz.
