Palou construy\u00f3 una ventaja de 4.2 segundos sobre O&#8217;Ward en la vuelta 43, pero O&#8217;Ward recort\u00f3 la ventaja con los neum\u00e1ticos alternativos. O&#8217;Ward hizo su segunda y \u00faltima parada para cambiar a neum\u00e1ticos primarios nuevos al final de la vuelta 54, mientras que <strong>Palou entr\u00f3 en boxes una vuelta m\u00e1s tarde por neum\u00e1ticos primarios desgastados, perdiendo un segundo crucial<\/strong>.
