Y es que, a menos ocho segundos para el final, Dries Vanthoor perdi\u00f3 el control de su BMW #15, lo que provoc\u00f3 una bandera roja para retirar el coche accidentado. Los dos Ferraris no pudieron igualar el tiempo de Bourdais en su regreso a la pista, permitiendo que el piloto franc\u00e9s mantuviera su liderazgo. Sin embargo, <strong>en los \u00faltimos segundos de la sesi\u00f3n, Alex Lynn, con el Cadillac #2, y Kevin Estre, con el Porsche Penske #6, iniciaron sus \u00faltimas vueltas de clasificaci\u00f3n<\/strong>. La radio del Porsche #6 revel\u00f3 que Estre hab\u00eda economizado combustible al m\u00e1ximo, finalizando su vuelta con la propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica, lo que muestra su habilidad para manejar los recursos del coche de manera \u00f3ptima.
