El equipo regiomontano, que recientemente elimin\u00f3 a Tigres en cuartos de final, se prepara para enfrentarse a Cruz Azul en busca del boleto a la final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Semifinales que disput\u00f3 Fernando Ort\u00edz<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de su consistencia  como DT, el &#8220;Tano&#8221; Ortiz ha experimentado la frustraci\u00f3n de caer en la antesala de la final en varias ocasiones. Al frente del Club Am\u00e9rica sufri\u00f3 la derrota en semifinales durante tres torneos consecutivos: Clausura 2022, Apertura 2022 y Clausura 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Posteriormente, Ort\u00edz lleg\u00f3 a Monterrey para dirigir a los Rayados, llegando a la semifinal de la Leagues Cup, cayendo 2-0 con Nashville.
